We found our cat Gambit dead yesterday. Gabby cried for a long while and then she drew this picture. She says it is Gambit's mommy coming to get him and take him up to Heaven with her.

I have a friend from California arriving today for an overnight visit. She and her husband are touring Scotland and England and they are near the end of their trip. They are going to Stonehenge this morning and then coming here, but, if they get here before Robert is home, I will have to give them directions. Because I don't drive over here, I am rubbish at giving directions from the motorways to here.

He's home, and unhappy in his hip-spica cast. I have no idea how long he will have to be in it, but his next appointment is on the 29th (a day before he turns one). I'm praying that he has healed enough by then to have the cast off. By then, he will have spent one week in traction and four weeks in the cast.
